Heroes In Our Midst
Heroes In Our Midst
What is A hero? Is it someone with great strength? Or just someone who does the right thing? A hero can be someone you look up to. A father, mother, brother, sister and friend.
The other night my Dad and I were at A gas station. As we were checking out the woman behind the counter says "This guy is going to drive away, I just know it." And sure enough, he did. Just like that. Got the gas and drove off. Doesn't seem like much but think about it for a minute. What is he teaching the youth of our age. That stealing is okey. What kind of world do we live in where wrong is made right and right made wrong? It troubles me to think that it's becoming more and more so. And thinking of the kind of world my children will have to grow up in. If these type of things become the norm, Then what will it be like in twenty or thirty years from now. What kind of things will we be accepted. These are my thoughts on this. But that's not the whole story. After the man drove off another man next to me at the register said "Which pump was it?" so the lady said which one it was and he says "Okay. pump five and six." I couldn't help but smile. This man had no idea who the other was but yet he was paying for his gas. It was truly A heroic moment. He was no superman swooping down and saving a man from being hit from a bus and flying off. He was just simply doing the right thing. And that's what makes him A hero. Not being able to fly or lift a truck with one hand. (though it's cool to think about.) We've come to belive that A hero is someone with powers, but it's the decisions we make that define who we are, and the good ones are what makes A hero A hero. Even though there are people in this world that encourage others to do wrong by they're actions, there are still people who encourage others to do right be they're actions.
There are heroes in our midst, everyday. We see them. They're everywhere. And they are just like you and me.

Ways In Which Trees Help Us
They provide oxygen to us. the way they do that is "Through photosynthesis, plants use the energy from sunlight to produce sugar, which cellular respiration converts into adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which all living things use for energy. Oxygen is a biproduct of this chemical process." "As for how many trees are cut down each year, the 2005 report concludes that primary forest area (as opposed to plantations)was reduced globally by 60,000 square kilometers per year (about the size of Ireland; Note that this data is incomplete due to a lack of available data from many countries who do not monitor such change. As to the “number of trees” this represents. it’s impossible to get an accurate count. Tree density in primary forests varies from 50,000-100,000 trees per square km, so the math would put this number at 3 billion to 6 billion trees per year." (thanks to a vary smart man fo that info) they may not know how many that really was but the numbers they're estimating are huge! this just needs to stop. we have to find a way to save our planets resources. there has to be a better way.
Our best friends
you know about a year ago if you would have started talking about tree huggers I would have porbably walked away but now that I see how much we need them I will stand and talk with you about them all day long. I'll even talk you're ear off. I didn't know what they did for us. I didn't know they take the carbon dioxide out of the air and turn it into oxygen. like ian somerhalder said "they are our best friends." so yeah. why wouldn't we want them everywhere? it's pretty crazy. for being the smartest living things on earth, we're pretty stupid.

Moon.
Moon. How thy light shines so beutifully and gently across the waves of the sea, as they crash upon the shore. Oh, how I long for thee to show thy face, so I may dream, a dream of dreams and sleep, a sleep of sleeps. I wish to rest mine head upon the clouds, and be sang to sleep by the roaring sea. Oh moon. Show me thy face, So I may sleep.

A Red Red Rose - a poem by Robert Burns
O my Luve's like a red, red rose
That's newly sprung in June;
O my Luve's like the melodie
That's sweetly played in tune.
As fair art thou, my bonnie lass,
So deep in luve am I;
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
Till a' the seas gang dry:
Till a' the seas gang dry, my dear,
And the rocks melt wi' the sun;
I will luve thee still, my dear,
While the sands o' life shall run.
And fare thee weel, my only Luve,
And fare thee weel awhile!
And I will come again, my Luve,
Tho' it ware ten thousand mile.
That's newly sprung in June;
O my Luve's like the melodie
That's sweetly played in tune.
As fair art thou, my bonnie lass,
So deep in luve am I;
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
Till a' the seas gang dry:
Till a' the seas gang dry, my dear,
And the rocks melt wi' the sun;
I will luve thee still, my dear,
While the sands o' life shall run.
And fare thee weel, my only Luve,
And fare thee weel awhile!
And I will come again, my Luve,
Tho' it ware ten thousand mile.
